FIBCs are the most used bulk powder bags/containers one the world.There is a full range of Passive-SoliValve® suitable for any type of FIBC.
Passive-SoliValve® assemblies can be accomodated to any type of FIBC.
Customers can freely choose the FIBC supplier (usually an existing one) without higher prices for proprietary solutions like dedicated special FIBCs. Upon request, Visval can recommend BigBags or source them from one of our partners.
The crimping operation is performed either in our own workshop in Switzerland on the finished bags or directly by the FIBC supplier during the manufacturing of the bags (depending on quantities, locations (logistics) and specifications).
Sometimes, it is not possible for customers to get the raw materials supplied directly in SoliBags® (FIBC with crimped Passive-SoliValve®). Some products are only delivered in standard BigBags with inlet and outlet spout (with or without PE-inliner).
Visval also provides a solution for such standard FIBCs with spout. The FIBC is transported like a standard BigBag up to the Active-SoliValve® docking station. A reusable Passive-SoliValve® is then attached to the spout with a clamp bridle (see video below). After emptying the BigBag, the PSV is removed and can be used on the next BigBag.
The main advantage of this solution is that it allows partial and dust free emptying of standard BigBags with all the benefits of the SoliValve® technology. The same Reusable Passive-SoliValve® can be reused again and again. The internal parts are made of injected plastic and are easily removed for cleaning or can quickly be replaced to avoir any cross-contamination.
The Reusable Passive-SoliValve® can be mounted on any FIBC with spout diameter of approx. 400mm.
Various executions of the Passive SoliValve® are available to cover all the needs of the market and to comply with ATEX, FDA and EU regulations.
